Monday Madness!

Welcome back everyone! Hope you all had a grrreat break!

In the morning we had a brainstorm and a writing session. The topic? What our spring break was like. We'll start reading tomorrow!

After math, we talked about test taking skills dealing with English/Language Arts. We discussed how it was best to read over the questions before reading any of the passages, because some of those questions don't require the passages to be read in order to answer. Reading the questions first also helps a test taker hone in on the info that that is required to answer the questions. So before reading any passage, read the questions first!

We also took a spelling pre-test that dealt with high-frequency- and science words.

Near the end of the day, we worked on our figures of speech posters:

And that's Monday for ya! Cheers!
