Spring Break Edition!

Howdy folks!

I hope you all had a wonderful break because I did! Here's what I did over the break:

-I ran a 10K in Santa Cruz. I was pretty happy with my time!

-Went to a Giants game! This was actually the first Giants game I've ever been to! Can you believe
that? I thought it was exciting as the giants scored three runs in the eighth inning ti win the game
against Colorado! I should go to games more often; the atmosphere can't be beat, and the
camaraderie...well, you should know how Giants fans are!

Blanco and Sanchez giving Crawford a much deserved "Yeah buddy!"

-I went shopping with my fiancee for my wedding band! Found out that titanium makes for the
lightest wedding band but can get scratched, that tungsten carbide is the strongest, is scratch
resistant, but is the heaviest, and that white gold and platinum are the most expensive metals,
but don't offer the durability. I decided on titanium.

- Ate dim sum at Fu Lam Mum. Om nom.

Shrimp dumplings. My favorite!
- Tried out Hong Fu restaurant to see if that's we're we wanted to have our rehearsal dinner, It was
good, but it wasn't the one.

- Talked to Lucy, my sister and also the wedding planner, about wedding stuff. We created a
blueprint  of where tables, decorations, seats, are going to go. We also discussed an overview of
what was going to happen on the big day and the times that it was going to happen. There was other
stuff too, but I don't wanna put you to sleep.

-Went to Half Moon Bay. The last time I was in Half Moon Bay, I was in the third grade, so I figured
I was due for another visit I checked out Cameron's because one of my students told me to! It's a
swell place for sure. The kind of place where you can have fish and chips and hang for a good long
while. I also checked out downtown Half Moon Bay(very quaint), Half Moon Bay
Brewing Company (waaaayyy better than BJ's) and Sam's Chowderhouse, which serves the best
clam chowder I ever had. I'm not even joking about that! It was not thick, like your typical
chowder, and the broth and the clams were just full of flavor. My mouth's watering just thinking
about it! And don't don't get me started on the lobster roll! When I think of lobster roll, I think of 80
percent mayonnaise, and twenty percent lobster. The quite delectable lobster roll at Sam's was the
opposite of that. Nice pieces of lobster that you could actually taste! Yummy!
Saw an R8 heading to Half Moon Bay

A Double Decker at Cameron's!

Molly's in the stocks!
Saw an Impala SS at Cameron's
Nice view at Sam's Chowderhouse

Molly's smiling after that chowder we had.

More nom.
So that's my break for you! What's gonna happen for the upcoming week? Well.... we're going to continue to work on our CA Mission Powerpoint presentations for one. Were also going continue to learn about rocks and minerals and use our skill of summarizing while doing so. And since, the CSTs are looming ever so close, we're going to be doing some review. It's going to be an amazing week! Cheers!
