We headed to the Almaden Quicksilver Mining museum in Old Almaden first thing in the morning; there, we learned how the area was ripe with cinnabar ore which was mined to extract mercury from!
Coming from our field trip we had some time before lunch for the last of the spring break readouts:
After lunch we had some R.T.S., and then spent some time working on our writing:
We then spent the remainder of the day discussing sedimentary rocks:
