It's been a sunny, but chilly Friday! We started the day out with some freewritng!

Afterwards, we took some time to take the Chapter 5 Science assessment, and then delved into this week's spelling test. When we got back from recess, we talked about using cross multiplication to compare fractions.We also reviewed how to to turn mixed numbers into improper fractions and vice-versa:
We also discussed how to order fractions from least to greatest:
After math, we had a little session in the computer lab and used the Lexia reading software for the first time.
After lunch, we did some R.T.S., and then read more Cricket in Times Square, focusing on skill of summarizing:
Heading back from afternoon recess, we read out a few more freewrites, and started on the next chapter of Cricket in Times Square.
