We had rip-roaring day for a Tuesday! We started out with a freewrite and then headed into the next chapter of Cricket in Times Square. We again focused on using the story to make inferences by applying what we know about the story combined with our personal experiences. After that, we had music with Ms. Ramona.
Coming back from recess, we focused on equivalent fractions for math:
After lunch, we had R.T.S, and some students continued to work on the biography project. We then delved into science, discussion how plant fertilization, and how animals aid in seed dispersal.
We also had some time to read out a few freewrites near the end of the day:
