Happy Friday folks!
We started the day out with some narrative writing:
You hear the door bell ring. You open the door and find a mysterious box. You open the box to find.....
Write a narrative about what you find int he box. Make sure your narrative includes a beginning, middle, and end, as well as details. Go over your work to check for grammar, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation.
We also reviewed adverbs, as it was a tough concept for some.

We also talked about the Spanish Conquistadors, and how they arrived in North and South America to take over the native people's land by force:
Really interesting, but intense moments in history.
