We started this morning on a session with the computer cart. Again, we're working on various projects with the laptops and/or using the Dreambox/Lexia applications:
We then worked on some baseball skills with Mr. Wood during P.E. and then segued into recess! After that we continued to work on our Open House getdown:
We then began to work on our writing assignment. It's a historical fiction piece, based on the events of the CA Gold Rush. We did a brainstorm today and began writing our rough darft:
After lunch, we had science lab with Mrs. Daly. Today's lab focused on discerning igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rocks from one another.
Science lab took a bit longer than expected, so we had an extended recess:
We ended the day with some Read to Self:
