Nerds Rope!

Hi folks!

I just had a Nerds Rope and it tasted delicious! And now I'm having a sweet tart. If you never had a Nerds Rope give it a try! They're one of my favorite candies to munch on!

Okay, where was I? Oh yeah! What we did today! We finished up our summative tests for English Language Arts today, and then we headed to Ms. Ramona for music to talk about solfege (At least, I believe it was solfege; I wish I knew more about music theory and all that!):

After recess, we took our topic assessment for math, and then we previewed concepts for our next topic:

Heading back to lunch we did R.T.S. and then we discussed the cultures of the Chumash and Yokuts Native American tribes. It was fun because some of us were pulled "onto stage"to do an act out of what we read. Hey Maybe we can even turn these into longer skits. It be a great way to illustrate what we learned! Maybe tomorrow.....But anyways here's some more info on these two very interesting tribes!
