We talked about compound sentences this morning; we discussed this sentence earlier int he year, but it's good to go over something once again!
- A compound sentence contains two or more simple sentences linked by a conjunction
- A conjunction are the words for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so
Here are two simple sentences:
My stomach ached.
I went to the bathroom.
You can combine them using a conjunction to make a compound sentence:
My stomach ached, so I went to the bathroom.
We also went over our vocab for the week, and talked a bit more about fact vs. opinion:

After lunch, we had R.T.S. and played Trivial Pursuit: California Native American Edition! We then had Mrs. Fickett show us how to square dance! Fun!
Well, that's about it! Cheers!
