I'm a bit under the weather today, so it'll be a quick and easy post. We did another run on how to summarize non fiction articles and passages today. In math, we got into measurement units and converting these units to smaller or bigger components using division and multiplication. It was a doozy converting pints in cups and so forth, so if anyone has any questions or mix-ups, please come by tomorrow morning before school. I'll be there to clarify! The big deal of the day was our Social Studies skits. In collaborative groups, we came up with a synopsis, setting, and characters that dealt with the Chumash and the Yokuts people! Most of us finalized a working script and are beginning to practice our lines. Tomorrow we will be rehearsing with props that we brought from home, and will be ready to perform to an audience! Stay tuned for more! It's going to be a frolicking good time! Cheers!
