Pot Pie!

Happy Wednesday folks!

I keep pinching myself because I can't believe how nice the weather is! Anyways, I just wanted to showcase a few samples of student work:

Great effort! Coming back from P.E. we went over fact and opinion, and had Professor G, give us a more through explanation on fact and opinion:

We then read Lou Gehrig: The Luckiest Man and discussed his life and feats:

For math, we went over multi-step problems, prime numbers, and finding points on a number line for our warm-up. We then created line plots from our surveys and discussed what outliers are.

Click on us for more grooviness on line plots!
After math, we went over examples of Native American reports and discussed what an excellent report consisted of. We also went over how to write a summary in preparation for the district writing assessment that will be given next week!

More from Professor Garfield! This time it's on summaries!
We had library after lunch, did some R.T.S., and then worked on our Native American reports for the remainder of the time! Oh, the was a fire drill in the midst of it all, but it didn't bother us! What a great Wednesday! Cheers!
