Howdy there folks! Today was another awesome day here at C-2! We started the morning out with a freewrite! The students came up with ridiculously funny stories about a vulture....
We took the spelling test right after, and then dived into Finding the Titanic! In groups, students used Read with Someone to read and share out their comprehension of the story. The group then used their collabrating and communication skills to complete their brace map.
After lunch, we decided to work on math. Today we focused on estimating sums and differences, and let me tell you, it was a doozie! Too many rules!!!
I'm sure with some more practice, they'll get it! Also, here's a Sylvan Learning link that leads you to a list of math sites. A very awesome resource indeed!
Near the end of the day we got to hear Megan Petrow tell us all about herself!
