We started out this awesome Thursday continuing A Very Important Day and discussing how to come up with questions to enrich our understanding of the story. We also finished up our categorizing/classifying chart:
Also, here's the audio for A Very Important Day:
When it came around to be 9:40, we got up and got ready for a little game of flag football, coached by Mr. Wood! After recess we came back, corrected our math homework, took a timed multiplication test, and reviewed the order of operations in preparation for the assessment tomorrow!
We then filled out our assignment notebook and then leaped into science! We discussed different types of ecosystems, and the living and non-living things in those ecosystems. Some ecosystems that we discussed were:
Tunrdas
Rivers
deserts
We also had time to do Categorizing/Classifying posters.
Near the end of the day, we had a quick discussion (in a series of discussion coming to a school near you!) about read ribbon week and how to make healthy choices.
That's Thursday for you folks! Cheers!
