We started this fine Wednesday out with a little bit o' P.E. with Mr. Wood. We did basketball relays that helped us with our dribbling and we also practiced shooting our free throws. It's just a hop, skip, and jump towards the NBA!
After P.E., we went over our vocab words for the week and read Sylvester and the Magic Pebble. We then used the story to work on making predictions using specific details form the text.
After recess, we focused on adding fractions with unlike denominators:
We then got into writing, and brainstormed resolutions that we could make for ourselves:
When we got back from lunch, we went to the library and checked out some books, had some R.T.S, and then got into Social Studies, reading about the mountain regions that are in California. Heading back from afternoon recess, we continued om with Social Studies, and then had some time to finish up any unfinished work that we had.
