Turkey Bacon Does Not Taste Like Real Bacon.

Howdy do folks! I hope you all had a great weekend! It was super chilly, but also super sunny! Yay!

We started this grand Monday out with a little something different: The laptop cart! We utilized this piece of wonderful technology to research the different regions of California for our California regions poster:

The C.A. coastal region is home to many harbors and bays including the San Fransisco Bay and the Monterey bay
The Sierra Nevada is one of the longest mountain ranges in C.A.
Death Valley gets its name from the 12 people who died crossing it while trying to get to the Gold Rush in S.F.

The Central Valley produces more than half of the veggies and fruits in America.

After morning recess, we combined our knowledge of rounding and decimals to get down with rounding decimals to the nearest whole number and to the nearest tenths place! Yippee!

After math, we filled out our assignment notebook, and continued working on our rough draft for our "resolutions" expository writing.

After lunch, some students did some Read-To-Self, while others continued to work on their rough drafts. We then read and learned about the coastal region of California.

Coming back from afternoon recess, we got into groups and continued working on our C.A. regions poster, writing down the important details of each region, and explaining what the living and non-living of each region were. Two regions down, and two more to go!

That's it for Monday folks! Cheers!
