Mustard On Hot Dogs and Ketchup On Hamburgers

Hi there ladies and gents!

Another wonderful day it was today! We began this Tuesday with a lesson in drawing conclusions based on on our experiences and clues in the text. We had the process of drawing conclusions modeled for us while we listened to the story of The Frog:

After that we went over this week's vocabulary and then begin this week's story, The Last Dragon. We read a part of it and we utilized our knowledge and abilities to draw a conclusion:

Part of the morning was then spent learning a bit about musical standards, a bit about musical scales and a bit about the great composer Mozart with Ms. Ramona. At the end of music class, we began practicing our rendition of Phillip Phillps' Home.

Coming back from recess, we used our understanding of rounding decimals to estimate sums and differences of decimals:

After lunch, we had some R.T.S. and then we delved into writing a response to literature. We read a story called Peter Piglet and wrote an outline for a response to show how the main charcter's attitude changes throughout the story:

And that's Tuesday for y'all! Cheers!
