Only two more days to go 'til the weekend! Whoot! Anyways, this morning we got some exercise with Mr.Wood, and when we came back we worked a bit more on our outlines about our favorite foods. A bunch of us even began to write our rough drafts! Here's one rough draft:

Pretty good so far yeah? After recess, we came back to get down with......... the Topic 2 Math Assessment! It was hard, it was tough, but we managed to soldier through it, and complete it!
When we got back from lunch, we went to the library, checked out a couple of books, and Read to Self. We then began the first leg of our California research project. We talked about how to use the internet and other research tools effectively and appropriately. We then used the internet to search for various symbols that are associated with California.
Some students stepped up today and decided to write a freewrite when they had a chance:
